By The Bay

Wooden fishing boats was always a fascination for me growing up on the island of Dominica. I use to sit and watch the men build them from scratch right on the beach, bend the wood, paint them, cure them and eventually pull then into the water.. to go fishing!!! ..I am humbled to be able to bring my imagination to life in this painting, and capture a beautiful side of the island called Scott’s Head.
